Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Shop Dalila ("we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using our website (shopdalila.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Platform Role

Shop Dalila acts as a verification directory and trust platform for social commerce merchants. We are not the retailer, manufacturer, or distributor of the goods sold by merchants listed on our platform. All transactions, shipping agreements, and product disputes are strictly between the Buyer and the Merchant.

3. User Accounts & Free Verification

  • Buyers: Accounts are free. You agree to provide accurate information when leaving reviews. False, defamatory, or spam reviews will be removed.
  • Merchants: Basic registration and platform verification are completely free. We verify your business details to issue a trust badge. You are responsible for maintaining accurate business details and honoring the sales made to buyers to maintain your verified status.

4. Shop Dalila Pro Subscription

Merchants may optionally upgrade to Shop Dalila Pro for a subscription fee of K50 per month. This premium subscription unlocks:

  • An enhanced, premium merchant profile card.
  • Featured, priority placement on the Shop Dalila homepage.
  • Access to the analytics dashboard.
  • The ability to upload and display product photos on your profile.
  • The display of unlimited customer reviews on your profile.

Payments are made via mobile money and require manual review. Subscriptions are non-refundable. If a subscription expires, the merchant simply reverts to the free verified tier.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use Shop Dalila to sell illegal, counterfeit, or heavily regulated goods without proper licensing. Merchants found to be defrauding buyers will have their accounts immediately terminated and may be reported to the relevant Zambian authorities.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shop Dalila shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from transactions made with merchants discovered through our platform. We verify identities, but we do not guarantee the quality of physical goods.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
